Challenge
The Green Weighting Factor (GWF) aims to help end users make investment decisions by taking into account certain green initiatives.
The GWF application therefore seeks to provide all the relevant information on a given commodity, so that the investor can opt for more sustainable investment solutions.
Solution
The GWF application makes it possible to access specific data related to the environmental impact of each commodity, namely carbon emissions, classified within a colour spectrum.
This application integrates several databases that are relevant to the calculations used in green metrics, guaranteeing agility in the validation and calculation processes, and thus providing a better experience for the end user.
Methodology

Results and customer experience
GWF is an upgrade on the previous method Natixis had for obtaining the same type of information. The application makes it possible to obtain a greater amount of data and run more deal simulations simultaneously (around 10,000).
It is also a faster and more immediate way for end users to access the carbon emission information of each commodity, enabling them to make more informed decisions.
